The words are ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs translated from the Stele of Revealing of Ankh-ef-en-Khonsu, a Priest of Montu who lived around 680 BCE. The Stele was highly significant in the events leading to the reception of the Book of the Law, the central work of Aleister Crowley’s magickal system of Thelema.
