Artos: this the name of the montain just parallel with the southern shores of the Van-Lake (in the eastern part of Turkiye close to the Iranian border). The Mountain's name 'ARTOS' is frequently used in local folk-songs.

Ah Tamara: this female name refers to a legend/story that happened at the Akdamar Island not far from the southern shores in the Van-Lake. On that Island there is been build an ancient Armenian Church where Tamara (the princess) dies following the story in the legend. The song/s are about the longing the that love for the disappeared woman, Tamara.
