I edited this transcription for some small grammar and spelling mistakes, but there is one correction that will effect translations:
Alarm zu geben, wenn's war ---->Alarm zu geben, wenn es so wär

IIRC it's "Fliegerstaffeln" and not "'Ne Fliegerstaffel" but I will have to listen to the song again to be sure.
"Heute zieh’ ich meine Runden" => Früher habe ich immer verstanden "Heute zähl' ich meine Wunden". :D
Fixed a few punctuation issues.
It is absolutely impossible to translate this into Latin: too many words are inexistent in that language. "Balloon", to begin with.
Call the Pope. ;) The Vatican is creating translations for modern terms all the time.

I lknow. But I am not sure that they still do so nowadays: the use of Latin has considerably decreased after Vatican II. Besides, they mainly use circumlocutions, rather than coin new words.
