Slicing up eyeballs: Reference to a close-up scene in the movie "Un Chien Andalou" of a young woman who calmly stares straight ahead as she's having her eye slit with a razor by a man. (which happens so quickly that the viewer is made to believe it was the woman's eye, not a cow's eye that it actually was)

un chien andalusia: Un Chien Andalou (An Andalusian Dog) is a 1929 French silent short film by Luis Buñuel, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Salvador Dalí.

Un Chien Andalou has no plot in the conventional sense of the word. It uses dream logic in narrative flow. Un Chien Andalou is a seminal work in the genre of surrealist cinema.
