MCs get taken to school with this music: In rap music, the slang term "MC" refers to a rapper (not to be confused with the abbreviation "MC" referring to the popular video game Minecraft). Eminem is one of the most iconic rappers in the world, hence the line "MCs get taken to school with this music", essentially meaning that Eminem is educating rappers with his music.

The way I'm racin' around the track, ...: In the United States, NASCAR (the National Association for Stock Auto Car Racing) is an American car-racing operation company.

Kneel before General Zod: "KNEEL BEFORE ZOD!" (line from SUPERMAN II)

Asgard: In Norse mythology, Asgard is a town/city in Norway.

So you'll be Thor and I'll be Odin: Thor is a Marvel superhero and Norse god. Odin is the father of Thor and is considered a more powerful god in Norse mythology.

Ramen Noodle: Noodle is another way of saying “brain”, due to way the brain looks. Em is out of his mind.

Word playing on the Japanese noodle dish, Ramen, as well as lyricism for “rhyming” noodle. He just can’t stop rhyming.

This may also be a callback to the White Trash reference from earlier. Ramen is cheap and easy to make, so it is popular among the economically challenged. Em grew up never knowing whether food would be on the table, and knows what its like to run out of Ramen, unlike many rappers today who have lived very privileged lives.

Kendrick has also used the Ramen/rhymin' homophone.

I'm out my Ramen Noodle: Ramen noodles are a type of Japanese noodle.

This flippity dippity-hippity hip-hop: “Hippity hip-hop” is a reference to Sugar Hill Gang’s classic song “Rapper’s Delight” from 1979, which was the first rap single ever released.

Lakim Shabazz: Most likely inspired the militant aspect of Eminem’s lyrics, such as songs like “Mosh”. His complicated (for the era) internal rhymes and phrasing were likely an equally big influence.

N.W.A: Eazy E, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, MC Ren and DJ Yella are all members of the pioneering gangsta rap group N.W.A. They are obvious inspirations of his, especially because he later linked up with Dr. Dre.

To censor you like that one line I said on ...: In 2001, the Eminem song "I'm Back" (part of the album "Marshall Mathers LP") became controversial after Eminem's record label censored the words "kids" and "Columbine" in the following lyric: I'll take seven kids from Columbine; Stand 'em all in line, Add an AK-47, a revolver and a nine A MAC-11 oughta solve the problem of mine

While the lyric is referencing the Columbine school shooting, Eminem has admitted before that lyric did not represent his views in real life.

See if I get away with it now that I ain't as...: Eminem was considerably more popular in the late 1990s and the early 2000s as opposed to when the song was released in 2013. Rap God was also one of his songs that helped him make a comeback to popular music.

Lyrics comin' at you at supersonic speed: This is the beginning of the fast part of Rap God (part of the album "Marshall Mathers LP II"), which until 2020 held the world record for the fastest verse in a song. In 2020, however, Eminem beat his own record with a longer and faster fast part of his song Godzilla (part of the album "Music to be Murdered by").

(J.J. Fad): J.J. Fad was an American rap group that had a song called “Supersonic,” which was produced by a young Dr. Dre and also includes a speedy verse.

Throw on "Lose Yourself" and make ...: "Lose Yourself" is an Eminem song, released in 2002.
