'Crossing the line' can also be in particular reference to a romantic relationship. When you 'cross the line' with a significant other, you are moving forward in your relationship with them, whether that means you move from friends to lovers (sharing a kiss, for example) or something more sexual than that!kerakemas 9 years ago
