Sonne (Extended Version)

Sun

1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,out

All wait for the light
You fear, do not be afraid
The sun shines out of my eyes
It will not go down tonight
And the world counts loudly to 10

One, here comes the sun
Two, here comes the sun
Three, it is the brightest of all stars
Four, here comes the sun

The sun shines out of my hands
It can burn, can blind you
If it breaks from the fist
it lays hot on the face
It will not go down tonight
And the world counts loudly to 10

One, here comes the sun
Two, here comes the sun
Three, it is the brightest of all stars
Four, here comes the sun
Five, here comes the sun
Six, here comes the sun
Seven, it is the brightest of all stars
Eight, here comes the sun

The sun shines out of my hands
It can burn, can blind you
If it breaks from the fist
it lays hot on the face
it lays painful on the chest
The balance gets lost
It lets you go hard to the ground
And the world counts loudly to ten

One, here comes the sun
Two, here comes the sun
Three, it is the brightest of all stars
Four, and will never fall from the sky
Five, here comes the sun
Six, here comes the sun
Seven, it is the brightest of all stars
Eight, here comes the sun

Awesome job! Just a question, though. During the song and in the original German I saw 'Sie' in place of 'Es'. Wouldn't this traslate as 'She' in English?

Not at all. It's just because in German the sun is a feminine word. But in English, we use the pronoun "it".

Not sure about it. In the video the sun ist represented by a woman, so the song is kind of ambiguous. It is about the sun, but the female associations are quite intentional.

Of course, this applies only if the Sun is personified.
But grammatically speaking, "sie" is translated into "it" when in that case it refers to the sun.

I wish I had learned a language when much younger. My parents & grandparents all spoke Lebanese but think they were trying to Americanize us children. They never tought us & spoke it when they didn't want us to hear what they were talking about.
For several months I've been listening to Rammstein alot & trying to learn german from the songs. I want to understand what their singing about. It's VERY DIFFICULT!!
Thank you to everyone who spends the time to translate these songs. Very helpful. Would actually be impossible without it.

This is not exactly correct. Rammstein famously like to play with the language and their lyrics often have double meanings. As someone pointed out, Sie can mean 'she', 'you' or (the thing as portrayed as a feminine noun). This song is most definitely about a woman. They use sun and light here as an analogy, referring to someone who is 'as bright as the sun'.
This passage here is absolutely full of double entendre:

"Die Sonne scheint mir aus den Händen
Kann verbrennen, kann dich blenden
Wenn sie aus den Fäusten bricht
Legt sich heiß auf dein Gesicht
Legt sich schmerzend auf die Brust
Das Gleichgewicht wird zum Verlust
Lässt dich hart zu Boden geh'n
Und die Welt zählt laut bis zehn"

It is using characteristics of the sun to refer to sexual acts.

I figured that's what that was about when I really listened to the song. That particular stanza you've referenced, is the act of ejaculating on someone's [her] face: "Wenn sie aus den Fäusten bricht / Legt sich heiß auf das Gesicht".

I'm sorry but you guys couldn't be more wrong. This song was literally written to be an entrance song for the boxer Vitali Klitschko. It was originally NAMED "Vitali". Hence the counting to 10 and all the referenced to fists and punching. Sorry to burst your bubble, but it's still a beautiful song.
