I've thought about this for a bit, considering annotations are either in English or the song of the language itself. If we would be able to translate annotations, I think that would be better than making a translation and making a footnote which translates the annotation.

We also have the feature of translating idioms, which also made me wonder if the same works for annotations.

If someone for example prefers the Arabic version of LT instead of any other language, I think the person would also prefer having annotations in Arabic. Same for any other language.

I've also thought about the feature of annotations in translations, as requested before. For me, annotations are just way "cooler" and more stylish than footnotes.

I'm not good at all in the programming of a website nor anything related like that, so I'm not 100% sure if such is possible or not.

Footnotes can be used for that as annotations can't be attached to translations (so it makes we not need a new code), but it depends on translators remembering we have such a tool.

So translating annotations isn't possible or am I understanding you wrong?

Not as in making those translations show up at the same place as the source annotation, at least in the moment.
