Musical Theatre Villain: Is it okay to quote their hurtful dialogue?
Hello there! I am fairly new to this website and as such I am just now adjusting to all the policies here!
I want to add songs from one of my favorite niche musicals! The musical in question is the West End musical "Marguerite" by Alain Boubill.
I haven't gotten to this specific song yet, entitled "I Hate the Very Thought of Women". This song is sung by the (obvious) leading villain of the show-- a Nazi who is very sexist and antisemitic. The song specifically uses harsh, hurtful language to present his cruel and corrupt way of thinking and singling him out to be the bad guy. Some lyrics include "how I hate all these Frenchmen, whores, wastrels and Jews" and of course "I hate the very thought of women (they steal your manhood with a smile)".
I did notice while I was reading through the websites policies and guidelines that anything prejudiced against people's beliefs/religion and or hate speech in general is not allowed on this website, which I totally understand! The last thing I would ever want to do is cause someone hurt or distress. That is why I wanted to know what the protocol here is: Is it okay to quote the harmful lyrics of a character that is obviously made out to be the villain in the original source material, or is it still a violation of the website's policy? Do I need to put a disclaimer in the description of a song that these beliefs are harmful and hurtful, only used to drive the villain, or should I just not post the song lyrics at all?
Thank you for your time, patience, and help!!

Hi,
Judging by context, I'm inclined to think you can add it - I don't think the lyrics are a call to violence or hate towards women and/or specific groups.
Appreciate you asking, kbrow
