XLOV 2nd Single Album [I ONE]

This past January,
XLOV (엑스러브) made a successful debut with their first single, expressing the origin of “unfinished love and the many forms of painful love they experienced,” while showcasing each member’s unique and delicate charm. Building on the strong ambition of that beginning, the group now returns even bolder and more provocative, firmly establishing themselves as artists.

With their debut single [I'mma Be], XLOV hinted that their story had only just begun and that it would grow deeper and never truly end. The next chapter, even more intense, was anticipated by many. That very expectation is now met with their second story, [I ONE] — an album that delivers the message that XLOV, like every being across the world, is irreplaceable and one of a kind, and that everyone’s own unique beauty is always burning brightly.

The second single album [I ONE] is filled with hidden messages. The title itself carries the primary message, “I am the only one in this world.” The word “ONE” also plays on the homonym of the Korean word for “want,” allowing the album to be interpreted as “I want.” Furthermore, the stylization of “I.O.N.E” can be read as “L.O.V.E,” adding the layered meaning of “love.” This clever wordplay is intended to add an extra layer of fun and thought to the album.

“I ONE” features three new tracks related to the theme of “one”: 1&Only, 1 of LOV, and BIZNESS (a play on the Korean word 일 meaning “one” or “work”). All songs were written by producer-member Umuti, who participated in the lyric-writing for the entire album. Including instrumental versions of each new track, the album consists of six tracks in total.
