I have a creative hobby: knotting bracelets. I read quite alot, almost exclusively in English . I watch movies and bingewatch tv shows every now and then.
An unusual hobby I have is sending postcards and snailmail worldwide.
Last but not least, I collect rubber duckies and I also collect erasers!

~I'm from The Netherlands, and I'm currently 24 years old. I live in an apartment on my own and have a job in financial administration.My partner lives in England, I travel there by train a few times a year.

~I discovered this website by accident and decided to stick around.
When I got my first computer with internet, I really started learning English. And hopefully I will never stop learning!

~In the past I had interest in becoming a translator, but that's very difficult in this country because everyone learns English in high school, and I was never interested enough in other languages.
Through this website I could pick up that interest again! I love the gradual skill mastery and the challenging elements. I see it as a challenge to find the fine line between translating a text word by word, or making a nicely flowing text that still stays true to the intended meaning.
