I used the McCune-Reischauer romanization system for this transliteration. It was the official romanization system in South Korea until 2000, when the Revised Romanization system (the one most commonly used today, as well as the one you'll find most often in romanized K-pop lyrics) was introduced. The McCune-Reischauer system isn't exactly a method of transliteration, but a method of transcription; that is, it focuses more on pronunciation than on spelling (the Revised system is the other way around).
