Trash it: in Windows, deleting a file will put in the Recycle Bin in case you make an oopsie (CTRL-Z undoes the last action and would restore the file form the Recycle Bin)
mail: Prior to text messaging and Instant Messenger apps (AOL IM, Yahoo IM, MSN Messenger) there was email: Outlook Express, Gmail, and ProtonMail you can easily sendsomeone a message
work it: In live shows they switch "work it" with "fuck it"
cut it: by using CTRL-X on the PC you can make the text disappear and be on the clipboard (in memory)
paste it: CTRL-V would put back anything that was Cut or Copied to the Clipboard
save it: CTRL-S saves the file you are creating. Standard on most apps these days
Load it: CTRL-O would allow you to select a file to open or load into a program
burn it,: Using a CD-Burner and software you could create your own Music or Data CD
rip it: Using software (like Audiograbber) you could "rip" the audio from the CD and convert it to Uncompressed .WAV files (huge) or convert them to MP3s (smaller files)
zip, unzip it,: Using WinZip you could archive and compress files to a smaller single file (.ZIP file that contained all the files you put in it) unzipping decompreses the files back on to the hard drive
fill it: in MS-PAINT (and Adobe Photoshop) you can select the paint bucket icon to fill a space with your selected color all at once
call it: Skype
find it,: CTRL-F allows you to search for a word in a text document
crack it: Software is usually locked by code or a serial number or CD-KEY, some (sketchy) programs could unlock the program and make it full-version (if it is a trial, "time bomb" or "crippled" version of the program), the programs were called "cracks" or "NO-CD cracks"
print it,: CTRL-P
rename it: single click on a file and press F2 would allow you rename a file
format it: Formatting a floppy disk, a CD-R, or a hard drive will permanently erase all contents from it.
