We watched the fall of the elite: This line is referencing the popular video game franchise “Halo”. A game Mick was a big fan of. The “fall of the elite” is referencing an event in “Halo 2” where the sangheli (elites) are betrayed by the high prophets of the Covenant (also known as the Great Schism). During the campaign, we the player (Master Chief) witnesses the Great Schism firsthand.
