"Welcome to the Jungle" (Guns and Roses)
"Fremd in eigenem Land" [Stranger in My Own Country] (Advanced Chemistry)
"Personal Jesus" (Depeche Mode)
"Insane in the Brain" (Cypress Hill). Note: The German song text translates literally as "totally sick in the brain".
"When Will I Be Famous" (Bros)
"König von Deutschland" [King of Germany] (Rio Reiser)
"End of the Road" (Boyz II Men)
"Loser" (Beck)
"Killing in the Name" (Rage Against the Machine)
"Come As You Are" (Nirvana)
"One Minute" (The Boyz, of which Adel Tawil was once a member)
"Du erinnerst mich an Liebe" [You Remind Me of Love] (Ich + Ich, of which Tawil was a member)
"Vom selben Stern" [From the Same Star] (Ich + Ich)

Commenti 6
"Then I met her // And she reminded me" obviously alludes to Annette Humpe with whom Tawil's career took off as "Ich+Ich".
"And I ask myself" => "And I wonder" is a more natural equivalent.
