So woman is singing about a man who is lamenting about his girlfriend who runaway somewhere and he is devastated so much because of that. Wow.
The translation #1 comes from the band itself (the link is given there). Looking into their translation I've got an odd feeling they themselves didn't realize the lyrics were in a male's. It might have been a reason a girl is singing. Anyway, it's common practice with folk or folk-based songs.

And I'll start thinking about a Hungarian translation that's well balanced between being literal and poetical, so that it could sound like an actual Hungarian lament without hurting the original's integrity. Because though it's only a few lines, the first two literally translated are not things we'd actually say in such a context.
As a bit of help, could you please explain how "dweud a ddoi di eto n’ol" simply means "I'm telling you"? I know no Welsh, but that seems unnecessarily long for such a statement.
hunhxc, this phrase is long because it has part of the address to the girl. Actually it goes (I) tell you again, my doll (2nd line) of a lover) Besides, the Vocative Case requires "A' like "A rún mo chléibh" Oh, love of my heart! That's Irish but the idea is the same. "I tell you again" sounded as if he were speaking to someone not very bright, so I changed it into "I'm telling you" to emphasize that he's lamenting unceasingly. :)

Ah, that's what I wished to know! So "cariad bach er cilio’n ffo" contains both "szerető babám" ("my doll of a lover" - what you put here as "my pretty girl") and the part about running away. It's clear now, thanks!
