Word-by-word translations mostly can't be applied to Turkish. This is the most correct way to translate the lyrics as they are super strong when sung in Turkish.
As Turkish is an agglutinative language where suffixes added to the end of words -including verbs-;
"Git" means -to go in Turkish as "Gitme" means -don't go.
