@someonewho288: Hello from Istanbul. Song and the clothes remind us of our ancestors who lived in Central Asia and believed in the Gök Tengri. As a person who loves history, it makes me feel very different because it makes me feel a connection with my past and I am sure we share the same feeling with people in other Turkic countries. The girls are Turkic living in an autonomous state in Russia, and it makes me happy that we have common ground.
@Kyrzak: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Turkic_mythological_figures
Ummet Ozcan literally lists all rulers of the turkic religion and mythology out of this list from up to down he only skips Etugen since it refers as Ötüken / Otyken and puts it to the end. And the vocalist is singing in the language Chulym Tatar about dedication to Gök Tengri and to the turkic peoples. Kinda like a wake-up call to all turkic people...
Etugen - Mother Earth
Ötüken - Holy Capital place of Turkic people
Otyken - the name of the band which symbolizes both of it
@TheOneCleanHippy: What's insane is all of the members of Otyken are all villagers from around the Chulym River in the taiga of Krasnoyarsk Krai in Siberia. And yet they all look like supermodels.
