Kind of difficult to translate this, because it's a word game. Kveikur means candlewick, and kveikja means turn on. Kveikur can therefore also be understood as the thing that turns on.
Also, "It burns" can also be "It stings"
And I don't know, is fuck inappropriate around here?

I know I don't have a leg to stand on as far as translation, but doesn't "Við riðum" mean "We ride"? Like cowboys into the sunset. Although both interpretations I guess can be done well into the fiery red sunset.
