The rubbish refers to the mass of songs translated by people having no clue about any language, including how to write their own.
At least these invented stories are usually well written.
I still think all such non-translations should be removed, but I'm glad no longer to be a moderator.

Yep: F tag = F*ck you all, these lyrics don't deserve to be translated anyway, so I have made my own rhyming lines which can be sung in a foreign language. Eat it, language purists and dedicated translators.

If you consider inventing a story is respectful of the original work and serves the purpose of a translation, I think you're mistaken. A translation is supposed to pay due respect to the author and the people who expect a reasonably faithful rendering instead of impromptu poetry.
This is just to make my opinion clearer, not to start any kind of argument. I leave the rest to the moderation team.

I was under the impression the original lyrics were in English though. That's great. I've always wanted to translate some Chinese, but learning their alphabet is such a bore. Now I'm off for a bit of fun.

But a similar one. What he submits are also not translations. He claims to understand Polish, but that is a wishful thinking. I also understand e.g. Czech and Slovak, but I don't try to translate from these languages. Being able to read the newspapers, to watch TV and even to talk in these languages is not enough to be able to translate songs and poetry from these languages. I hope to have some self-criticism, but looks like it's not everybody's feature.

Even without speaking a single word of Russian, anybody can look at your profile and see that you have violated the rules 102 times by publishing 102 English->Russian translations.

Harsh words won't, only suspending his editor rights will. The thing is he behaves as if he were the owner of LT and ignores what Site Rules and FAQ says. I quoted him these rules, but he seems to understand only what he wants to understand and not what I tell him. Editors cannot set the rules. Rules are created in our moderators' team and later announced officially by the admins, but you know it well from your previous experience...
