Sentimentale
Sentimental
I'm sentimental
God, I am without hate
I'm sentimental
But here, I have far too much trouble
There are flaws
Sizes
I confess, I'm empty inside
And I'm gonna die
In addition to the rest, I'm afraid of everything
I dare
I remain speechless
And there, I
There, I want to be loved
And when I see you
It's God who
It's God who sent you, I love you
I dare
I remain speechless
And there, I
There, I want to be loved
And when I see you
It's God who
It's God who sent you, I love you
Oh, it's beautiful when it's seen
Seen from above
Oh it's beautiful
When, from cradle to grave
I'm sentimental
God, I am without hate
I'm sentimental
But here, I have far too much trouble
Yes the soul's all over the place*, wherever I go
Fatal detail
I believe in life
Yes the soul's all over the place, wherever I go
I cut myself down**
Finished, I wanna break free
I dare
I remain speechless
And there, I
There, I want to be loved
And when I see you
It's God who
It's God who sent you, I love you
I dare
I remain speechless
And there, I
There, I want to be loved
And when I see you
It's God who
It's God who sent you, I love you
I remain speechless
And there, I
There, I want to be loved
And when I see you
It's God who
It's God who sent you, I love you
I remain speechless
And there, I
There, I want to be loved
And when I see you
It's God who
It's God who sent you, I love you
1, 2, 3**
I'm going to the woods
4, 5, 6
To pick cherries
7, 8, 9
To put in my new basket
10, 11, 12
Provided they are sweet

*en vrac = loose/in bulk or disordered/disorganised
**tailler as a verb usually means to cut in the sense of to trim/prune/cut to size, so i translated it as "cut myself down" since i think thats the idea here/translating it as "i cut myself" would have a v different meaning
***this is a french nursery rhyme--i think the last line is usually "elles seront tout rouges" (they will all be red)

i hope this translation was useful to you. use it wherever, i don't mind.
i write evocative translations rather than precise ones so this might not be "word for word" but at least it will be pretty
