but you aren´t free or happy either;
there´s a monster, keeping you imprisoned

and it is called money.

plan wars and swallow whole states,
you´re steered by the impulse to control, and paranoid -

your power is a drug, it controls you tightly,
a weapon in the worst possible hands.
we are co-dependent, sadly, but we see the problem -
and we are ready to stop the madness.

Great translation, except for no use of capital letters and the typical European mistake to type the English apostrophe ' incorrectly, In English, it should be an apostrophe, not a space with accute accent. Compare ' vs ´ Example: don't (correct) and don´t (incorrect).
