Hey, Vanessa! It's a good translation, if only I knew more Italian I'd rate it.
However, may I suggest some improvements? Feel free to accept or not my suggestions.
'Io sono il diverso per la statistica' -> For (the) statistics, I am the different one [here you can even put 'I am the outsider']'. It can be also 'According to (the) statistics'.
The way you translated 'Ho semplicemente scelto di essere me stesso' is correct, but I'd translate it as 'I have simply decided to be myself'
