Forgive me for bothering, but may I dare asking what's the meaning of keeping the scripts of teaser trailers here? It looks rather useless, to me...
I actually love the Idea of submitting scripts Instead of lyrcs well done to the author
Well, there may be people interested in seeing what the trailers say/mean, so I'm fine with them being added. I'm a curious person as well, so I also like to check other versions of them.
Still, while songs can change their lyrics a lot from a language to another, spoken lines all remain basically as such. Just see how most of the trailers' script is idling there, untouched and untranslated.
do we really need to keep the trailers?
Content like that is no longer allowed since 2019, but since these were added before this rule was implemented, they were allowed to stay to avoid punishing uploaders for violating a rule that didn't exist at the time
Could we just remove them without giving these people strikes?
Like maybe comment on them
Unpublishing of content results in loss of points, and we don't want to cause any users to lose any points for breaking of a rule that didn't exist back then
November 23rd, 2016 is the theatrical release date for Moana.

Looks superb! Three more days :D
There's a mess. BIG MESS. You should create something like this: Vaiana (English Soundtrack), Moana (German Soundtrack), Moana (Italian Soundtrack) etc. not everything in one.
Actually, creating a single page for the movie organizes more than adding several specific language entries. People find the foreign versions of their favorite songs easier when all of them are organized in a single page - and not spread around, specially because in specific pages there's no link to the original song.
And we have guidelines for movie soundtracks in our FAQ.
I understand, but it's really hard to find a song.
It looks like some languages are still missing
Which are you thinking of?
Um well... I'm not sure which ones are missing exactly (right off of the top of my head) but I know that this movie was dubbed in MANY MANY different languages.
54 dubbings in 48 languages
Update: 60 dubbings in 57 languages
Tracklist:
Where You Are
How Far I'll Go
We Know the Way
How Far I'll Go (Reprise)
You're Welcome
Shiny
I am Moana
Know Who You Are
We Know the Way (Finale)
Wow! This movie has a lot of dubs. Disney doesn't usually dub movies in languages like Hawaiian and Tahitian, that's cool they did for this movie :)
Well, Tahitian, Māori and Hawaiian dubs were made as specials for Moana/Vaiana because the movie is based on Polynesian culture :) Later the Māori dubs of The Lion King and Frozen were announced after the success with Māori Moana/Vaiana :) I don't have any information about any other Tahitian and/or Hawaiian dubs in the making though...
The Lion King 1994 and Frozen also has a lot of dubs. Lion King was dubbed in Reo Māori; Every species of animals, in the movie, speak a different Māori dialect. Exactly Anna, Moana was dubbed in those language because it belongs to Polynesian culture as Frozen II was dubbed in Northern Sami and well Lion King was dubbed in Zulu language. Hawaiian and Tahitian just dubbed Moana movie. Oh and Finding Nemo was dubbed in Navajo language.
And I must say I'm very curious to see how The Lion King in Reo Maori worked out, given the specificities of said language :)
Well https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0lE9KSq6rM looks pretty good ;) Young Simba, like Zulu and Slovene versions, which are amazing, is dubbed by a girl.
One of the dubbers also recently posted this lengthy video showing the sessions, I got very interested in it :D Also because I recently studied the revitalization of Maori and am into the language haha

It seems they recorded the CD/soundtrack for it, we just need to wait till it's released.
Yes, I saw it and the lady has a pretty good voice. Simba's dubber, Mataara, also posted some shots behind scenes but it were IG stories :( He also have a pretty good voice
I have found CYFTLT a cut in HQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=krdA2bNCtA4 her voice is just wao :D
Can we add the Canadian French dub of Moana on this OST
The Canadian and European French dubbings used the same songs
Thank you for letting me know
