You're welcome. But it's such a strange song that it struck me.
Is it by any chance a story about paedophilia?
Well, the artist has stated before that the girl "Clair" was his manager's daughter like a newborn and he would sometimes babysit her, and him and her became close over time. Nothing about pedophilia or anything like that but that's what he said. You could look it up for more information but I was thinking the same thing you are first time around hearing it lol

Yeah it's not just you who thought that and I've heard Spanish versions of this song too and added some of them on here to LT and they try to kinda be accurate to this song (the original of course) and it just ends up sounding really weird lyric wise lol.

Well, you are right it still does sound creepy even with the context but it's not meant in the way most people think it is though but I see where you're coming from. If I were a singer I could never sing this song lol
