My name is Jess and I'm from Australia. My interests include: reading, writing, eating chocolate, website & graphic design, geography, and learning about the world. I have a passion for different languages and cultures, and regularly watch foreign-language cinema (mainly Bollywood, but also Middle Eastern, especially Palestinian-Israeli films).

I am in love with the Turkic branch of languages, primarily Turkish and Uzbek, which I have studied a little.
I have previously studied German, know a bit about Hindi and am also interested in the Persian (Farsi) language.
I am currently learning some Italian.
