Kasaba

Town

The town has looked down from the sky
Came down on earth, and stayed there

The young girl from Prizren cried and asked the clearwatered river:
Bistrica*, river's spring,
Where is my home Ljeviška*?

Prizren's fortress in the hills has cried
and washed the face of a young girl
and told her

"Little angel girl, here is the path you should follow
May the clearwatered river be your guide
That leads you to your palace."
