- 1. K3 means the Life Regiment Hussars (swedish: Livregementets husarer), which is one of the oldest still existing army regiments in Europe as it was founded by King Gustav I Vasa in 1536. In the last years soldiers of K3 served i.a. in Afghanistan and Mali.
