When submitting a translation, there are cases when a wrong warning is issued:
>> The number of lines in the original text and your translation do not match.
>> Readers will not be able to take advantage of automatic paragraph alignment, which is inconvenient on mobile devices.

This happens when there are footnotes, and the footnotes themselves have a different number of lines.
That is, the check is done on the raw text of the translation, not on the actual number of lines of the resulting rendered html.

So, I'm quite sure that this also produces false negatives: if the translation has one line less of lyrics, but one line more in a footnote, the check incorrectly determines that everything is ok.

I guess a simple solution would be to just completely remove any footnote (with "fn" in square brackets or in angular brackets) before doing the check.

Now the aligning check will properly account for footnotes (i.e., they won’t be counted during the check). Thank you for the suggestion.
