Smoke
I quit smoking and going to church
Sometimes I go back to the former, to the latter not
As Spięty does upon God, God does upon Spięty
Be merciful, naughty
I'm not good at relationships, for one
Especially the spiritual ones
When a community takes me under its arm
I seemingly embrace it, but I keep my guard
I didn't hear a voice in your home
There was no voice except an echo
Ash was poured on my head there
Ash - when I was promised opium (x8)
Ash...
Cigarettes, like hostia, is kissed with the lips
As if it was you who would live under the filters
When the cross is heavy and curses him with tears
I swear to God, then I miss cigarettes
Cigarettes
You are like a cloud of smoke
I follow you aimlessly like an utter idiot
You are like cigarette smoke
Where I am - Crimea, where you are - Rome
How have I discouraged you enough to keep avoiding me?
I'm searching all my life and you disappear
I quit smoking and going to church
Sometimes I go back to the former, to the latter not
As Spięty does upon God, God does upon Spięty
Be merciful, naughty

Commenti dell’autore:
"Spięty" is the nickname of the band's lead singer, which literally means "nervous" or "stressed out"
The third line is a variation of the Polish phrase "jak Kuba Bogu, tak Bóg Kubie", which loosely translates to "what comes around goes around"
In the fifth verse the words translated as "cloud" and "idiot" are the same word, which can have both meanings
Rome and Crimea are a reference to a Polish saying "gdzie Rzym, gdzie Krym" (literally "where's Rome and where's Crimea") which is used to describe two things that are completely disconnected from each other
The song utilizes many wordplays, which I chose not to translate in favour of a more literal translation
