I fell in love with this song after realising it's beautiful structure and tone. Sezen, in this song, is liying to both her self and her lover, who for what ever reason left her. She tells him/her that its okay, to make it easier for them to seperate, then for only a moment her mask falls off and her love re-ignites. Sezen says "I told lies" with disappointment and sorrow, upset that its only a fantasy for her to be able to forget him/her that fast. Then she repeats the lines, but this time with more energy and anger, and in some cases anger is an indicator for hope, hope of their reunion.
Lastly, Sezen manages to put on her mask again, saying a one last goodbye.
