About me

An Indonesian of Chinese origin who is currently studying translation from a non-mother-tongue language to another non-mother-tongue language in Spain, and suddenly speak more language of the Iberian Peninsula than most people who live there.

My mother tongue is Indonesian (I hate to write with it). My secondary languages are English (I hate speaking it), Spanish, Catalan, and Galician (somehow). Any Indonesian can understand Malay, although they don't speak it fluently.

I've an advance knowledge of German, since I started learning it long before I studied Spanish even though I almost never used it, and Portuguese, which I studied it in the university for 1 year before changing to other language. It was so close to Spanish, so I think I can understand it well.

I did self-study for Japanese, but I have the certificates. It doesn't mean I can speak it well.

The rest are some random languages that I study when I'm bored and want to try something different.

Contrary to what they taught us in the class, I'm a firm believer that anyone can be a sudden translator if they have the material and the grammatical knowledge of the language. I don't believe that you have to be fluent in a language to translate from it. So... beside here, I'll translate anything (from European languages, because I prefer these languages) with a few shekels and a dictionary.

And contrary to the reality, this guy with a Chinese family, a Chinese face, and a Chinese origin DOES NOT speak Chinese....
