"Sunset" is an English language word. (The word in French is "le crépuscule" or "le coucher du soleil".

I suspect 's’faire du mal' is 'hurting one one another' here, not 'oneself'. I think I see why you're translated 'se déchirer' as 'clearing', as if the clouds are torn and the sun shining through. It seems a more violent image in French to me though.

In view of your first comment, I've changed "Doing oneself harm" to "Hurting each other".
Regarding your second comment, I was pondering over this for quite a while. I don't think a literal translation would work in English for "Et j’vois le ciel se déchirer", but for a slightly stronger image I've changed "And I see the skies are clearing" to "And I see the clouds are breaking".
