In a night shining under a range of blue skies
You appeared descending closer, looking for me

Until you were lost in the haze and once more, I understood.

You’re the shining star in a dark lit sky

Amongst the most beautiful of the stars
You fill the night with different colour shades
As slowly you light up everywhere
I felt your hands caressing my face,
As our heavy breaths disappeared into thin air
And now the wind dried the tears I cried
And took you away to the distance place you come from
With your presence in my life, I found the hope I had once lost
You were a shoulder to lean on
When in the darkest of times you saved me from falling apart.
Like a boat sailing the ocean,
You were guiding light in the darkness
As together we set off to discover the universe
And we got lost in its immensity.
