دِل میں اک طوفان ہے
سَر پہ ہے جنون چڑھا
بے حسی کی راہ پہ
سوچتا ہوں یہ کھڑا
تیری میری ذات میں
کس نے ہے یہ غم بھرا ؟
تیرے گھر کی پیاس کو
تیرا لہو ہی کم پڑا
اِس پل کو تھام لو ،
جس پل میں ہم جلیں ،
اِس جلتی آگ میں .
لے کر چلے تھے جو قافلہ ،
منزل سے ہی کیوں وہ غافل رہا ؟
سوچا کبھی تو نے کیا کھو دیا ؟
کتنے چلتے آئے تھے ہم ،
کتنے رہ گئے کم
ان لوگوں کی ہم کیوں سنیں ؟
جو من کی ہے ، کیوں نہ کریں ؟
کب تک یہ زہر ہم پیئیں ؟
جلیں . اِس جلتی آگ میں .
زندہ ہیں وہ لوگ ابھی ،
خون سے جنکے لکھی ،
اِس زمین کی داستان ،
بولو ! کھو گئے ہم تم کہاں ؟
