From The Beginning
From the beginning, she didn't want to believe
Who took over my dreams
Who, in dreams and awakeness,
Have died for my breaths
That I'm the rain, your body is desert-like
If she is a river, she'll reach me
If I'm the fountain of her existence
If she is a river, she'll reach me
From the beginning, she didn't want to believe
That her love, all her existence is me
That till the final moment of life
Her breaths, her everything is me
I accept that everybody has their own God
But my God is elder
Your God is not loyal, just like yourself
But my God is more friendly
Your God is doubt and fear but
The God that I have is filled with beliefs
A God that isn't like any other one
Like his creations is the beginning and the end
From the beginning, she didn't want to believe
Who took over my dreams
Who, in dreams and awakeness,
Have died for my breaths
If she is a dessert that I'm its rain
If I'm the river of her restless sea
If [she is a] fountain, I'm a mountain for her to boil1
Say that the pound knows that I'm its moonshine
- 1. Fountains don't "flow" in Persian, they rather "boil" out of the ground.
