I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Je ne dois pas avoir peur.La peur tue l'intelligence. La peur est la petite mort qui provoque l'oubli total. Je vais affronter ma peur. Je la laisserai passer par-dessus et à travers moi. Et quand elle sera passée, je dirigerai vers elle mon oeil intérieur pour voir son itinéraire. Là où la peur sera passée, il n'y aura plus rien. Il ne restera que moi.
