Lice

Lice je izlog – vidiš moju glavu
Lice se smeje kada padne noć
Lice ti kaže, “ne prljaj mi obraz”
Lice me krije kad lutam kroz grad

Ja vežbam lice da ne otkriva
Sve sitne gadosti koje sam radio
Sve srećne devojke kod kojih odlazim
Koliko novaca imam u rukama
I tajne navike i tajne navike…

Kada me vidiš da sedim u uglu

Lice me krije kad lutam kroz grad

Ja vežbam lice da ne otkriva
Sve sitne gadosti koje sam radio
Sve srećne devojke kod kojih odlazim
Koliko novaca imam u rukama
I tajne navike i tajne navike…

Face

The face is a window display - you see my head
The face smiles when night comes
The face says "do not sully my cheek"
The face hides me while I'm wandering through the city

I'm training my face so it does not reveal
All the tiny atrocities I have done
All the lucky girls I visit
How much money I have in my hands
And secret habits, and secret habits...

When you see me sitting in a corner
I am making a new mask from wax
Go away so you don't see the real face on me
But a hole instead, from which voices are calling

The face is a window display - you see my head
The face smiles when night comes
The face says "do not sully my cheek"
The face hides me while I'm wandering through the city

I'm training my face so it does not reveal
All the tiny atrocities I have done
All the lucky girls I visit
How much money I have in my hands
And secret habits, and secret habits...

Not sure if "srećne" here would be "happy" or "lucky". I went with "lucky", but if you think "happy" is more appropriate, feel free to say so.
