Твоя не слышал советов з боку - that is more like a phrase, rather than a regular sentence. "Listenting to advice from a corner/side/back" is a phrase for the last ditches of help, so I rather translated it as they didn't listen to any advice.
Guys, I love Kino so much! Definetely one of my favorite bands! Selva is one of my favorite songs and I hope that anyone who will read my translation will get dragged to this amazing group!
