Stand

I really want to watch freely
but I have no eyes there.
I get down to it1 and twirl my tail.
Will I feel good now?

I'm still standing right here,
not knowing if I ever leave.
I get down to it and twirl my tail
and I greet You again.

Now I can finally watch freely
when there is good(ness) inside my eyes2.
There exists no beaten track
that a leg doesn't drag anymore.

  • 1. it can mean both "take (sth) into hand" (lit.) and "make an effort"
  • 2. oops, I had translated it as "my eyes feel good" before

The title is a noun. I think that the title means "the act of standing". Another option is (a probable clipping fro imperative "Seisa!", meaning) "Stop!". (Amost like, "Freeze!") "Seis" can also mean status quo, like score in a game.

I find the lyrics quite vague and there is not one possessive pronoun in this song. I also think that "watch" could be replaced with "look" too, try it.
"Kas nüüd hakkab hea?" is actually an impersonal sentence. It can also mean, "Are YOU starting to feel good now?", or any other person.
There just might be a tailed animal in this song.
"Võtan kätte ja keerutan saba" could be interpreted as "i take the/a/your tail in my hand and twirl it." Or is it all from the POV of a dog?
I think that the final line is about drawing, creating a road on the ground with your leg. Was I able to express it?
