Think of Me

This is our song
It's late like all the rest, I'm also late
It would like to conserve you
Within these notes
These notes
I imprison you, my love

And I imprison myself for a while
Stopped and waiting
Without disturbing you
And I imprison myself for another while
I forgot to forget you

Think of me, think, think of me
Until you get a headache
Now, get full

Tame, tame me
A stray dog
Looking for you
For you, for you, for you, for you

Who will love your frozen ears and your dry fingers?
Who will love your noisy sleep and your boring silence?
Who will love the itchiness that your beard causes?
Who will love me?
Who will love us?

Think of me, until you get a headache
Now, get full
Tame, tame me
A stray dog looking for you
For you, for you, for you
Looking for you, for you
For you

Is 'think' a way to translate 'masticare'? I didn't think 'bite' would make sense and since my IT->PT dictionary says that it means 'pensar', I went with that. Hope it's correct.

I thought it meant to 'swallow/chew your own words', to admit when you were wrong about something? Or is it literal like 'chew' as in 'chew me up'.

Yes, I found this definition in a couple of online dictionaries, but I also didn't like that. I also didn't think 'bite' would be adequate for this context... I looked at my dictionary to see if it could give me a light and it showed me that the Portuguese 'pensar' would be a way of translating it... But I still am not sure about it...
