Hi ibn, i think the line should be:
Und küsse dein Lächeln, --> Und küsse deine Wange
As he is kissing her cheek not her lips at the moment :-)
I don't speak any German but a friend of mine who does pointed out the difference between the german and the english. The Hebrew indicates to me her cheek not her smile.

Okay, thanks, Moshe - also for the stanza re-formatting; I have just come down with COVID and am feeling pretty rotten - (I was only online to try to inform my recent contacts and to check the PCR test results site when I was notified of your message, but I'm not up to figuring out (carrying out) the further revision myself this evening, so I will hopefully get back to it in a few days, if you will forgive me!
