Thank you for your translation.
I have split up the lyrics in stanzas, please do this with your translation likewise, so the lines would match.
I don't know what is meant by "Awe" (is it a slang word in Kanack-Sprak or just a onomatopoeia?)
But to translate it to "awe" in English certainly is not correct, because awe is a proper English word which isn't meant here and hence misleading, I'd guess.
>"echte Scheine" (line 10) -> Geldscheine, (money bills) are meant
>"While mother prais for me, " -> prays (line 13)
"Absinth" (line 21) -> see annotation
>" Kann nicht schlafen, solang' die anderen nicht satt sind" (line 23)
possibly referrs to his family in his country of origin which he feels responsible to support
The translation is not flawless.
