Clever translation, not a word-for-word one. There are some typos in the French text, I'll mention them on the main page.
- Et regarder tourner le temps > and watching how the weather turns, but I'm not sure, it could means "how hours are going round", or "how weather is turning cold" ? It is not clear.
- "s'il le faut" means "if necessary", "if needed", "if I have to"
- "On se couchera sans réfléchir, un peu quand on le voudra" > We'll go to bed without thinking, more or less when we want it

Actually I was not sure if I have translated this part correctly:

It's rather tortured style, but it means something like "That game will draw into the sheets infidelities to our habits", meaning "We will not play the usual routine", I suppose.

Yes, I guess so, but it's rather clumsy in French, so it's difficult to find an elegant equivalent in English...
