the English in the original song is a mess (not your translation - I can't speak to your translation, but the song lyrics in English.... ooof.)
I feel like in general the singer's pronunciation is unclear fairly often, for both her Korean and English lyrics. I've noticed a couple errors in the Korean lyric transcriptions as well, so I assume there's a high chance that what ended up being transcribed for her English lyrics may have been different from her intention :)
