Time

Someone should, Someone shouldn't
We see clearly, yet we're blind
We throw shadows, light absent

When we're gone, we'll be the past
And the youth will soon decay
While we're living, we're biting dust
When we pass, alive we'll stay
The end is what we'll resist
No haste, just onwards persist
Infinity's shoreline
Trapped in the river of

Time
Freeze, please freeze, please freeze.
Time
This is how it has to always be

Warm body will soon be cold
The future cannot be summoned
Cannot tolerate to halt
Created and atonce destroyed
I am lying here in your arms
Oh, could it last forevermore
But the time knows not(hing) of grace
Soon the moment is no more

Time
Freeze, please freeze, please freeze
Time
This is how it has to always be
Time
It is so fine, so fine
Everyone knows
The perfect moment

Time
Freeze, please freeze, please freeze

When our time to go here is
Then it is time to go
To seize, when the finest hour is
Time stops to flow

So perfect is the moment
But time is still ticking on
Moment, do not go
I am not ready in time

Time
Freeze, please freeze, please freeze
Time
This is how it has to always be
Time
It is so fine, so fine
Everyone knows
The perfect moment

A few compromises, but this one fits with rhymes and node endings.
Certain passages the lines must be varied in speed to follow properly, but this has been taken into account.

The line Am Ufer winkt Uendlichkeit is nearly impossible to translate and get to fit, so its been shortened to give a two word line, the problem is that infinity alone is 7 syllables, and for it to end on a rhyme that goes with Time, it must end with shoreline, and suddenly the syllables are gone. So this is probably the biggest compromise.

Other than that the meaning has been lost in some other translations, so i tried to keep it as close to the original meaning as possible. Erbamen for instance isn't exactly mercy, as it implies it could have been given but one was not worthy of it. So grace is a better word, as the worthiness is a bit of a stretch to read into the song.
