You

I give you my waist
and my lips for when you feel like kissing.
I give you my madness
and the few neurons that remain now.

My faded shoes,
the journal in which I write,
I even give you my sighs,
but don’t you leave anymore.

Because you are, my sun
the faith that I live with,
the power behind my voice,
the feet that I walk with.

You are, love,
my will to laugh,
the goodbye I won’t know how to say
because I’ll never be able to live without you.

If one day you decided
to go far from here again,
I would close every door
so you would never be able to leave.

I give you my silences,
I give you my nose.
I even give you my bones,
But stay here.

Because you are, my sun
the faith that I live with,
the power behind my voice,
the feet that I walk with.

You are, love,
my will to laugh,
the goodbye I won’t know how to say
because I’ll never be able to live without you.

I think you've done a great translation. The one thing I'd comment on is the use of "regalar" in "te regalo mi cintura," "te regalo mi locura," etc. since "relgalar" and "dar" both mean "to give". As I understand it, the difference between the two is that "dar" simply means "to give" while "regalar" has the connotation of "to give away". Meaning, if you "regalas" something, you are no longer the owner of it. Also, since "regalo" is a gift, "regalar" also adds the idea that she's giving them as gifts. Simply saying, "I give you my lips", could mean forever, for this moment, for however long her love wants them, etc. But instead, she specifically saying that she is completely giving away pieces of herself, permanently, to her love, as gifts. She is willing to take herself apart and forever give away anything and everything that might convince her love to stay. I just love the imagery and emotion that evokes. I definitely agree with you, Shakira is a fantastic songwriter!

I wouldn't change how you wrote the translation at all, since "I give away to you my waist..." doesn't sound right. However, I just thought I'd add a comment with my own little opinion in case any English speakers out there were interested in some of the subtle shades of meaning that get lost in even a great translation. Again, well done!

Thank you for your input and praise, MLE! Indeed, the implicit meaning of "regalar" does get lost in the English language since we tend to use "give" interchangeably with "borrowed" (at least in the West coast of the United States we do). You explain this very well. Gracias!
