Czech resident born and raised somewhere else.
I speak Russian natively, Czech and English fluently and understand Slovak and Ukrainian. The combinations of languages also let me understand a row of other closely related languages and translate songs with a bit of effort.
I translate songs rarely, usually when in mood. Some, or even many songs I translate, can be non-serious and out of sane context, contain a lot of obscenity and be overly politicized. By translating them, in no way I want to offend someone or to propagate something. I just do it for fun or if the music is good.
