*Morning Programs*: its referring to some programs on television which are aired on tv, kinda like Dr. Phil, but they talk about mostly violent stuff, and that's why they feel like days are passing really bad because of the thing he sees on TV, thus he has "nothing to laugh at" around them.
**I injected the virtual heroin in to my veins**: It's a metaphor for how the TV controls you. It's almost like it makes you inject a drug to yourself.
