Though I can't sing for the life of me:/

I'm 16 in high school. I'm learning French, and I would like to try and actually use the language. I'm an American, so knowing more than one language always seemed like fun to me. I used to take Spanish classes in Middle School, but I wasn't able to meet the requirements to move on to the next level and I didn't want to take the class again, so they put me in French class. Sadly, I know nowhere near enough Spanish to translate anything, though, I would like to pick it up again someday:).
